The 2017 MAS MASterworks Awards honored The Montauk Club by Bone/Levine Architects (Best Restoration), A/D/O by nARCHITECTS (Best Adaptive Reuse); New Lab by Marvel Architects and Macro Sea (Best Neighborhood Catalyst); New York Public Library – 53rd Street Branch by TEN Arquitectos (Best New Urban Amenity); Public Safety Answering Center II by Skidmore Owings & Merrill (Beset New Infrastructure); Governors Island Phase 2: The Hills by Mathews Nielsen Landscape Architects and West 8 Urban Design (Best Urban Landscape); and the Roy and Diana Vagelos Center by Diller Scofidio + Renfro with Gensler (Best New Building)… Claire Weisz, FAIA, Principal-in-Charge, and Adam Lubinsky, PhD, AICP, Managing Principal, at WXY architecture + urban design, were cited among Fast Company’s “The Most Creative People in Business 2017” for “Building with a Purpose”…Peter Marino, FAIA, Principal of Peter Marino Architect, will be honored at the Museum of the City of New York’s Spring Symposium & Luncheon with the 2017 City of Design Award…Fradkin & McAlpin Architects received the 2017 Preservation Award from the Chatham Historical Society.

James von Klemperer, FAIA, RIBA, President and Design Principal at KPF, has been elected Board President of the Urban Design Forum…Jared Della Valle, CEO and Founder of Alloy, has been named Chair of the Board of Trustees at the Van Alen Institute.

New Jersey-based Jenkins & Grey has been acquired byh Mancini Duffy.

Greg Keffer, AIA, LEED AP, has been elevated to Partner at the Rockwell GroupHoffman Architects has promoted Tai Mahmuti, LEED GA, to Senior Project Coordinator; and Joseph A. Madaghiele, Steffany Malarik, Assoc. AIA, and Richard W. Off, Assoc. AIA, to Senior Project Representatives.
